Jan is far from satisfied

JAN Poortvliet said he was “not satisfied at all” by Saints’ goalless home draw with Barnsley.

The head coach is still searching for his first home league win after his side picked up their second St Mary’s point of the week.

Saints are becoming stuck towards the bottom of the early season Championship table and desperately need some wins on the board to stop themselves getting mired there.

He said: “First half we created a lot of balls and nobody was there, nobody had the intention to be there.

“It looked a little bit too lovely way to play and that is a pity.

“This game we had to win and we had the right to win and so it is a shame.

“I think when you see the game you know there was a difference between us and them when we were attacking and we created more than they did and tried to win this game.

“You talk about whether I am satisfied and I’m not satisfied at all.

“There were too many players not there and not giving what they had to give.”

When we break no-one runs down the wings, no-one backsup the player in possession, nothing happens!

We needed Rasiaks goals this season (regardless of how much his wages are) we need to start Stern John.

We are in trouble...

Do us all a favour Jan and resign as you shouldnt be treated like a patsy to Lowe.

You might also consider doing the obvious and playing two upfront !

Imagine the feelings of all Saints fans...?

I have a view on todays performance from my garden in Pocklington from the views of an associate...

"49-years of following them and today was the final straw...it's all over for me." PS he went on someone elses ST for free.

Come next week it will be for me - Rotherham is my last game unless friends visit Yorkshire and want a pre-match pint!

I've lost the will to get excited any more...what will ever replace the Saturday afetrnoon experience?

Jan is unhappy? Well at least he is getting paid to watch the saints. I have spent £108 so far watching Saints this season and that is it. I love the Saints and always will but I can no longer justify paying £27 for me and my boy to go and watch them anymore. It is not that we are in the old league two it is that the entertainment and value for money has gone. I will watch Saints whatever division we are in but it has to be value for mnoey and unfortunately it is not.

Don't know quite what Jan means by "we are making too many balls" but we we can't finish so that's our main problem we must sign an experienced stiker on loan and soon otherwise we will have a relegation battle all season

We have been told by the "MANAGEMENT" that JP will bring us back to the top flight in 3 years what they did not say from what DIV we willbe srarting from or what year they will count the 3 years from, I do not thoink it is the players we have look at as they are only boys trying there best! but before the start of teh season everone one said need to not look at the Div until 5 to 6 games "Now it 10 or 12 games" and lets face it if any of are lads do good they will be sold "Titanic" feeling "GOING DOWN"

People are deluded...turn up in your droves and support the club!

I bet if someone came in and invested £20m - Lowe and Wilde gone the crowds would soon be 20,000+. Bring in the right loanees for this season and the playoffs would not be far off...a decent LB/RB, a decent midfield general, and a fox in the box.

Not that it matters any more, this morning I still feel there is going to be a massive hole in my life...but I can't give any more.

In the News of the World, the possibility of going into administration, this season, was again mentioned. Rupert has allegedly said "We have a mess to clear up that was left by the previous board" or something like that. I'm sure he meant to say "previous boards" in the plural as it's not like him to shirk his responsibility for our financial problems having started when we were relegated under him!
The way things stand, at the moment, the likelihood of going into administration must be increasing after every home game, with crowds now under 15k. If that is the case it would be better to go into administration sooner rather than later as I'm sure there are rules in place to increase the number of points deducted, if administration is entered when the club has already been relegated or during the close of season, whether relegated or not.
Hopefully he is aware of this ruling.
I know it is still early days, but I fear the writing is on the wall for this season, so once it looks likely that we will be relegated, go into administration (if it is unavaidable), take the 10 point penalty & start next season level with all the other teams.
